Getting Started

If you are interested in joining our group therapy program here is what you can expect:

When you call our office we will schedule you for an initial intake appointment.  During this phone call we will obtain basic demographic information and your insurance information so we can verify your benefits for treatment.

Please Note: You will be asked to place a credit card on file to book the appointment. We do charge a $100.00 No Show/Late Cancellation Fee,  if you do not call to cancel your appointment within 24 business hours. 

Your intake appointment is typically 60 minutes.  We will ask you about your current symptoms, past symptoms, significant family history, current medications, and your goals for treatment.

For your convenience we offer new patient paperwork online by clicking each of the highlighted blue forms.  We need these forms fully completed prior to your intake appointment.  If you don’t have the paperwork completed we will have to reschedule your intake. If you need to come into the office to complete the forms that's okay our staff will be glad to assist.

Once your intake appointment is complete you will be scheduled with a start date.  We limit the number of individuals in group to make sure everyone receives quality care.  If you are placed on a waiting list we will keep you updated weekly on a tentative start date.

Once you start group you will be given a manual with the skills training curriculum.  The clinician will communicate with your treatment providers, such as your psychiatrist or therapist, to coordinate care.  We are also happy to involve your family in the treatment process at your discretion.
